The World Without Us

I haven't yet read Alan Weisman's book, marketed as an explanation of how our infrastructure would collapse and vanish without human presence. There's a nifty site that allows you to place your mouse over certain time periods to see what the author says would happen.

That’s one of the most stupid and selfish predictions ever, it is so ignorant and primitive.

First, who cares, no one is going to be around, right?

Second, he’s forgetting all about evolution, in 30,000 or 70,000 years another specie will evolve just as we did, hey probably computers will still be there and evolve.

This guy is an ignorant hippie with a really naif fatalist and limited ”green” vision of the future, but then again Who cares, the humans are gone... Lice desapearing, honestly... he shouldn’t write books or we should save the paper used on printing such garbage.
